Cheryl Lynn Shelton was born, Cheryl Lynn Sam on September 13, 1965, in Lafayette, La. Originally from Franklin, La. she now resides in Lafayette. She has a BFA degree in Performance Arts/Theatre Concentration from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.
