Heather J Bettner is a native of Miami and began her music & acting career at an early age. She studied voice at the University of Miami, Julliard as well at the esteemed American Institute of Music in Graz Austria. She performed in Opera's in German for several years specializing in Mozart, Wagner and R. Strauss due to her Dramatic Soprano voice. Roles such as Elizabeth in Tannhauser, the Countess in the Cosi fan Tutte and Ariadne auf Naxos. She also enjoyed Musical Theater performing in Florida in musicals such as 1776, Bye, Bye Birdie, The Music Man and more. Taking some time off to raise her daughter and family, she returned to her love of acting and singing by taking on-camera and scene work at the Acting Studio Chicago. This has propelled her to appear on Chicago Med, Chicago Fire and Empire as a stand in and in supporting background. In addition she will be seen in the future series Proven Innocent as well as Red Line. She will appear in the indie film, Serpents Gate to be released in 2019. Heather is auditioning to perform on stage as well as on television and in many independent films. Her opera background has given her the ability to flesh out character roles that have depth. She is also adept at having a quick wit and comedic side as well. She is enjoying a successful career and is gaining more experience as she works toward bigger and better achievements.
