Beyond nursing, Jake began working in television back in 2010 when he was cast to join MTV Canada's late-night talk show 1Girl5Gays. As a nurse, Jake jumped at the opportunity to reach beyond his regular practice and promote healthy lifestyles to a wider audience. A natural on-air personality, Jake appeared as a regular cast member throughout the show's 6 seasons.Television has since evolved into a second career for Jake who went on to join MTV Canada's The After Show for 2 seasons, then becoming Toronto's Entertainment News Correspondent for Shaw Vancouver's OutlookTV, followed by working as a contributor and digital host at ELLE Canada, and as an on-air entertainment reporter and host for Global's Entertainment Tonight Canada.After years of working on-air as a personality and host, Jake decided to pursue his dream of acting.
