Kamil Qahar is a Los Angeles-based actor and model known for his emotional authenticity, grounded performances, and versatile presence across film, stage, fashion, and music video projects. He began his acting career in 2022 with the respected OpenStage Theatre & Company in Fort Collins, Colorado, making his debut as The Associate in the award-winning play The Christians. His performance earned early praise for its thoughtful, introspective quality, leading to his involvement as the swing for the lead role of Christian De Neuvelette in Cyrano de Bergerac, deepening his foundation in classical and emotionally layered performance work.
Kamil soon transitioned into on-camera storytelling, appearing in independent short films such as Lemonade and Dead to Me, where his expressive, emotionally textured performances stood out in character-driven narratives. He has also gained on-set experience with featured background appearances in HBO Max's Full Circle and an uncredited role in Antoine Fuqua's Michael, working alongside major productions while continuing to hone his craft.
In addition to acting, Kamil launched a professional modeling career in 2021, quickly becoming a sought-after presence in fashion editorials and runway. His distinct look and emotive still work have led to features in 17:23 Magazine, 303 Magazine, and City Lifestyle Magazine, alongside creative collaborations with independent designers and photographers.
Kamil has also expanded his creative résumé into music videos, appearing in "Things Left Behind" by the country band Blue Grama and "Nineteen" by indie rock band Charly Bliss. These projects allowed him to explore visual storytelling through movement and character-driven performance in a stylized, cinematic medium.
A graduate of High Point University with a Bachelor of Arts in Film Production, Kamil brings a comprehensive understanding of filmmaking to his work as an actor. His academic background informs his approach to performance, enhancing his collaboration with directors and crews, and offering a thoughtful, story-first perspective to every role he takes on.
Kamil's personal story - overcoming early life hardships including periods of homelessness - has been profiled by High Point University and OpenStage, both recognizing his resilience, discipline, and dedication to his craft. In 2020, he was honored with High Point University's Extraordinary Leader Award for his leadership, perseverance, and artistic contributions to the campus community.
Now based in Los Angeles, Kamil Qahar continues to build a multifaceted career across film, television, theater, fashion, and music video projects, seeking out work that challenges convention, illuminates human experience, and champions underrepresented voices in entertainment. Hide
