Lateef Merritt is an American actor who grew up in Philadelphia Pennsylvania. He's the 4th oldest sibling out of his parents 10 children. Lateef alongside 8 of his sibling also grew up foster care due to their parents drug use. From foster homes to group home Lateef was paired with his older brother (Mark Merritt). Lateef graduated from West Philadelphia High School where he participated in varsity football, basketball, and track and field. Although he enjoyed the sports he found himself banned due to ineligibility from violating health forms. Lateef went onto graduate and attend Community College of Philadelphia for 1year and then going onto attend Lincoln Technical Institute where he later graduated with honors and received his National Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA) license. In 2012 Lateef joined the prestigious fraternity of Free and Accepted Masons also known as Freemasonry. He joined with the hopes of becoming a better version of himself. La'teef has always wanted to entertain rather it be through music, dancing, or just entertaining whoever was around. Lateef didn't initially start pursuing acting until he was 22 years old; he went onto work with the (John Casablancas Talent Agency) briefly before taking on his adventure alone with the thought and hope of challenging the entertainment industry as far as making it big in the industry without the proper training in his background.
