Matthew Ray Ruggles is an American actor, and musician based out of Beijing, China. Originally from Jackson, MI, Matthew moved to China in 2011 to pursue his film career.Matthew is the son of two musicians and began acting as a child in musicals, continuing his career in theatre throughout adolescence and into adulthood. After a few years of studying at Western Michigan University, Matthew decided that there was nothing else he'd rather do than perform. Taking that initiative he entered the film market in 2006 working as an extra, and eventually moved to China in 2011 to begin taking on serious roles.In 2013 Matthew helped establish an organization that brought together foreign actors all across China in an effort to further their careers domestically and abroad.
