Pursuing his passion of acting, Farrag joined Khaled Galal's acting workshop in Cairo's Creativity Center, a leading organization in developing young artists and actors in the region, where he participated in a variety of plays between 2009 and 2010. This led to a professional acting career in several film and television productions. Farrag's career really blossomed over the past few years, where he would star in several outstanding films and highly-rated drama series during Ramadan, notably Taht El Saytara in 2015 and Sokoot Horr in 2016.
