Olympia Grace Miccio is the daughter of Writer, Director Lance Miccio and Multi Media Artist Lisa Baker Miccio. Olympia appeared in the feature film Brothers War when she was 9 . At ten years old Olympia was chosen BY LAUSD magnet school HBO Young Storytellers Program to direct play she wrote titled 'The Ugly Dumpling .'Born in Easton, Pennsylvania and educated in Venice California. Olympia's musical , voice and writing talent was confirmed when she won first place in Venice High School Talent Show in 2018 for an original song she wrote and performed. Olympia is a professional poet for Get Lit words ignite. As a poet , she has entertained large audiences with her prose at Classic Slam and other major events. In 'March for Our Lives ' Olympia was a key figure having designed a poster and was displayed on multiple monitors at The Washington DC rally where she explained the statistics of gun violence effect on the youth of the nation. Olympia has been called upon by Hollywood's elite ( Goldie Hawn , Mariah Carey ,Naomi Campbell, Chelsea Handler , Jackson Browne and Kate Hudson ) for fund raisers and to entertain them at their private California estates. In October 2018 Olympia and fellow poets in Get Lit words Ignite group were chosen by Toms Shoes as cover models for their brand and also sponsored by Toms Shoes as United Nations Peace Ambassadors to do Poetry for the U.N. Assembly in New York City. In 2019 Pamela Adlon the Co Creator and writer, producer and director of 'FX Better Things , personally chose Olympia for the role of Millicent ( Although she is introduced on screen as poet Darby Lincoln ) a poet teammate of Frankie (Hannah Alligood) bringing rave reviews by Rolling Stone Magazine and others. Ms Adlon a big supporter of spoken word and Get Lit used many of the Poets and offered Olympia the opportunity of a lifetime which she took full advantage of ,lighting up the screen with her classic beauty and natural abilities. Olympia will be attending The New School in NYC on a creative writing scholarship after her studies abroad in Rome Italy. Hide
