Tony "Anthony" Woodhead (born 1973) is an English actor best known for his work on House of Dragon (2022) and The Flash (2023).Tony was born in Rochdale, Lancs, in the UK. His mother is a teacher, and his father served in the armed forces. An artist to the core and from a very early age, Tony would do anything and everything to be creative and to expand this skill set. He skipped class regularly to help out at a local theatre and spent most of his early summers acting and designing with The Manchester Youth Theatre. He went on to read Fine Art at Belfast School of Art.Tony resumed acting in 2021 during the COVID pandemic, having had to close his central London photographic studio because of lock-down regulation. Like so many others, Tony then had to seek alternate ways to promote his business. And so, given so much of his work focuses on artist portraits and performer headshots, surrounding himself with actors and then ultimately becoming one seemed logical!Unsurprisingly, Tony fell in love with acting again. Pulling on his formative drama training and subsequent years' behind the lens, coupled with his relaxed nature and confident delivery, Tony fast found himself being offered featured and speaking roles in a variety of prestigious film and TV productions.
