A Nightmare On Elm Street 5: The Dream Child (1989)

Description
Chris went through a series of dark nightmares and probably had a bad effect in her life. After a long time, Chris came back to face that dreadful nightmare of Freddy Krueger. This time the murderer will clash with the sleepy baby mind and the unborn Alice. Perhaps his intention is to be born again in the real world. The only person who can stop that nightmare is not Alice, since she has to stop Freddy in order to free her soul and save her son in time before the catastrophe.

At the end of the day while it does little to progress the mythos, it's still an enjoyable entry in to the series that entertains consistently.

As for Englund, he still looks as if he's been working at Domino's too long, and he still sounds as if he's stealing his material from Don Rickles.

Don't wait for this one to come out on video-see it in the theatre and sit close to the screen. Roller coasters are always better at the front.
