2000 years after the destruction of Pompeii, the family of a Special Ops commando is on a tour of the ancient city when Mount Vesuvius erupts without warning. His wife and daughter are trapped. While his family fights to survive the deadly onslaught of heat and lava, he enlists his former teammates in a daring operation beneath the ruins of Pompeii.
