Troubled singer Charlie Steelman travels to Nashville to follow his father's footsteps in becoming a national star. But when his father comes out of his fortunes, the only way for Charlie is to push Thomas Buckshot, a tonk legend who is thirsty to live and cross into his last concert. Along the way, the two men have a rare friendship and can change their lives forever.
