Because of the mismanagement the fund of Fitzy, the Saskatchewan town located near the Dog River is on the verge of bankruptcy. However, after finding out the quain test awarded $75.000, Lacey - a resident of the town - tries to rally the citizens to raise fund to save the town. Will their last-ditch effort succeed?

In truth, it often plays like a few TV episodes stitched together into 96 minutes, which doesn't work especially well on a big screen. But I have a feeling this won't matter to fans of the show who are dealing with Dog River withdrawal.
