The film epitomizes the task of revenge that Tullis is trying to carry out against a dozen jurors who sentenced his brother to death. Tullis found himself with his team in front of the small community of Eminence Hill, a town run by a group of religious homeowners. These people seem to have established what they consider to be a holy oasis.
