An emergency room doctor's busy routine is nearly permanently disrupted when he begins looking for the truth behind the mysterious death of the vagrant who raced naked into the E.R. of his New York City hospital. But he soon finds himself in danger from people who want the hospital's secret to remain undiscovered.
