In love with peter but betrothed to Henry, valerie plans to run away but when she learns of her sister death by a werewolf she forestalls her plan as the villagers summon Father Solomon a beast hunter to help them kill it but sooner she begins to suspect that the werewolf is a shape shifter who is most likely someone she knows.
