Rey had given his chance at college to raise his half-brother Oliver - 'same mom, different dads' - after his drug abusing mother was arrested and prisoned. However, a few years later, his mother is released and determined to rebuild her family.Hoping that Oliver does not have to suffer from their toxic mother, Rey takes his little brother to run away from home and start their adventure in California.
