In a comedy atmosphere, the movie follows a young man, Titu, who falls in love with a beautiful girl called Sweety. After time, he decided to marry her so he takes his best friend Sonu and go to her home. But the surprise happiness when Sonu doubts Sweety's character, the thing which makes him tries to break this marriage.

The one thing that worked for Pyaar Ka Punchnama films was the relatability, even if it was restricted to guys-only discussions. Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety doesn't have that, nor is it funny.

Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety could have done with tighter editing as the second half drags a bit...The film has sharp, witty dialogue, and it's these which make you laugh the most.
