Two Brothers Conner and Murphy MacManus begin killing off Boston's underworld, seeing it not as a crime but as a calling by God. The Irish brothers soon caught the attention of Willem Dafoe, but the closer he comes to catching the Irish brothers, the more he thinks the brothers are doing the right thing.

Willem Dafoe's portrayal of the conflicted homosexual FBI agent is overacted to such an extent that it is hilarious, amazing and entertaining. His is an unforgettable character.
