The story of the scene is told in a respectful and enjoyable and inoffensive talking heads style that really lifts the curtain on the craziness of it all. But, there's nothing inherently shocking to be gleaned overall.

I realized many of my frustrations with Punk could be boiled down to the fact that punk rockers reveling in the kind of navel-gazing nostalgia this kind of documentary project requires seems anathema to the whole punk-rock ethos.

It's a wonderfully created playlist. There's nothing new here, but what there is is swaggerful greatest hits for fans and newbies.
