Former World Wrestling Federation referee Danny Davis was one of the most controversial referees in the history of the WWF. Was stripped of his referee's license in 1987 by then WWF President, Jack Tunney. Became a wrestler, managed by Jimmy Hart. Wrestled in tag team action with the Hart Foundation [Bret Hart and Jim Neidhart] Reinstated as a referee by Tunney in 1989. Remained an active WWF referee until his departure from the WWF in 1994.
