We are exposed to a new series of strong events in the Seventh season due to endless violence. Oliver is trying to stay alive in prison after new committees have appeared in Star City, and after surrendering to the police he is forced to ally with an old enemy. Oliver will face many challenges and positions inside the prison, and this may be the biggest challenge, while Felicity will get an exciting show.

Sometimes one guest star can make or break an episode. Colin Donnell's surprise return to Arrow definitely worked out in the show's favor this week.

While I'm not sure if I connected emotionally to the lesson Oliver learned in tonight's episode, I was definitely moved by Colin Donnell's presence.

A relatively solid Arrow... While there's plenty of action to consider, it's the character moments that immediately stand at the forefront, temporarily distracting from the many questions about the overarching plot.

The best fight sequence turned out not to be real, and most of the moments that should have been suspenseful have already been covered one way or the other by flashforwards, lowering the emotional stakes dramatically.

Most of Oliver's story follows him trying to blow a way out of the building, but it serves up a simple but effective metaphor of how Oliver is trying to face the problem at its core.
