This show only occasionally works, and I increasingly think it would have been a better bet as an animated show.
October 23, 2012
Still funny and still an acquired taste.
October 23, 2012
I'm still not convinced this show can maintain its high degree of snark every single week but it's off to a more promising start than it was a year ago.
December 14, 2016
A (sort of) oldie but an oft-ignored goodie. Krysten Ritter (Jessica Jones) is at her acerbically funny best as the titular b**** in apartment 23.
October 23, 2012
It's a fun episode; Van Der Beek's good-sported spoofing of his past is still the best thing about the show.
October 23, 2012
I'm still so impressed with how much Krysten Ritter can do with just her eyes.
October 23, 2012
It has a delightful bad attitude, a serrated insouciance.
October 23, 2012
The deliciously depraved sitcom, which returns for its second season tonight, reminds viewers that these days a working stiff can't catch a break.
October 23, 2012
It's the same uneven show [as it was in season 1], full of ideas that seem funny in concept but only occasionally get there in execution.
