Fleabag shares those events along with familiar faces - Claire's tense sister and her alcoholic husband Martin. It seems surprising when Fleabag finds herself intrigued by a new Godmother priest who may change things.

Happily, Waller-Bridge has toned down on the to-camera gestures, nods, winks and soliloquies that often bordered on the irritating, letting the terror unfold without the same level of fourth-wall breaking interventions.
