EPISODE
SEASON
The second season deals with a new drama, whereby Marissa is imprisoned on the plains while Hanna is encouraged to embrace her new identity called Mia Wolf. It seems that doing so requires sorrow for Eric at those moments, which helps Terry to enter a new framework. Meanwhile, Marissa escapes and convinces Hanna to leave, while Clara stands before what is happening.

The Hanna TV series is taking advantage of the space, and it makes for a hell of a ride.

This season does a great job of drawing the viewer in and keeping them wanting more. It's a perfect binge.

The second season could benefit from some more imagination but it still stimulates the brain, providing the prospect for more stories.

Hanna season two is still more of a spy thriller than a fractured fairy tale-but freed from the need to tell the same story, it evolves into something more thoughtful and compelling.

The violent, tense action leads to tragedy and, typically, some wildly improbable rescues and escapes. But it's not like that ever hurt James Bond's reputation.

Now that 2 seasons of Hanna have frustratingly been spent setting up the story, maybe the third season is where they're unleashed in an entertaining way?

By showing more of the world of Utrax and forcing Hanna to make tough choices as she confronts how she can impact the world, the series becomes more thoughtful and insightful, while also serving up all the butt-kicking action fans have come to expect.

The combination of escapism and action makes for a heady formula, one that I found much more watchable than Hanna season one.
