In the fifth season of this series, the new call sergeant Jablonsky was called up for a mission, while Mayo tackles the issue of a chaotic assault against an elderly couple who has tried to deform them. During this period, the imminent execution of Celestin Gray appears to be a hindrance to Furillo and Goldblume. Over time, Faye tries to help a couple outside the city get stuck in some events.
