My only issue is that I wish it was funnier. Sure, it's not un-funny. It's an enjoyable half hour. But I wanted so much more. The jokes are often a bit predictable and the material doesn't live up to the actors delivering it.

Hitmen was slapstick, but it was also twisted, dark and merciless and they certainly weren't too cuddly to kill.

It's absurd, it's dark, it has no soft centre at all - it feels as if it's made for these times.

It could have been done very, very badly. It's done pretty damned well: that chemistry, of course, but also many decent gags.

While it's not essential viewing, it does pass the time nicely enough. Which is not to be sniffed at. At all.
