The network's slogan is "Characters welcome"... The best illustration of the slogan is Monk-the series itself, which is now in its seventh season, and the character Adrian Monk... still played beautifully after all these years by Tony Shalhoub.

I have to say, they did a good job of introducing the new Doctor, Dr. Bell (played wonderfully by Hector Elizondo).

Elizondo is perfectly cast... He has that quiet, calm voice that would sooth even the most uptight person.
