This exciting series takes after Martin 'Marty' Byrde, a financial advisor who had a work with a drugs dealer. At some point, he found that the work with this merchant turned out badly and they had a few clashes. Thus, Martin chose to take his family away. The story proceeds in the second season with Ruth's father gets out imprison and the Mexican cartel requests reparations from the Snells.

The second season of Ozark left me feeling exhausted and without any compensating payoffs. Though the show that I like is still a piece of the Ozark tapestry, the process of wading through the swamp to get there no longer feels worth the effort.
