The Big Bang Theory - Season 2

Description
A woman who moves into an apartment across the hall from two brilliant but socially awkward physicists shows them how little they know about life outside of the laboratory. Penny opens up to a reluctant Sheldon after a less-than-stellar first date with Leonard, placing him in the uncomfortable position of having to keep a secret.

I have to give the show's writers credit for zigging where I assumed they would zag, and saving all "the gang goes arctic" stuff for the coda (where, I confess, it was funny enough that I kinda wished this episode had been all-North-Pole-all-the-time).

Prickly Sheldon has become a character to love, and Parsons is doing something rare on network TV: making intellectualism admirable, even heroic.

Frankly, any show that weaves in multiple jokes about Comic-Con and employs its own science consultant can't be all bad.
