A French explorer sent by King Louis XIV accidentally veers off his intended path into the cold Canadian Arctic and crashes into an iceberg, cryogenically freezing him. 300 years later, he is awoken by a local Inuit teenager and his husky dog, and settles into a new life in the Yukon Territory.
