Karen lives in Calgary, Alberta and is proud to be an Alberta based actress. She began her professional career as a Lucille Ball impersonator in the movie Rat Race and since has had roles in television, movies and commercials. Karen took on the role of coordinator for a film workshop at the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT) for directors, actors, writers and 1st year film students, called Calgary Upstart, 10 years ago. It gives her the opportunity to give back to the community that has supported her for more than two decades.
